How to use Elementor?
Install ElementorThe foremost thing that should be certain is your WordPress installation is ready with the installation of the Elementor page builder. Then go to ‘Plugins’ in the WordPress dashboard ‘Add new’ and enter ‘Elementor’ in the search bar. Click the ‘Install’ button followed by the ‘Activate’ button.
Using Elementor Edit a new Page
Go to ‘Pages’, ‘Add new’ and click the ‘Edit with Elementor’ button.
Add an Elementor Template
You will now be inside the Elementor editor. Click ‘Add Template’ and select from a wide range of free and paid templates available. Create the Template Full-Width
Any template on the Elementor can be made full width by going to Section-Layout, and then switch Stretch Section to ‘Yes’.
Elementor Structure
You will see that every Elementor page is created with sections, columns, and widgets. The page is divided into horizontal rows with sections. Furthermore, each section is divided into vertical columns with Columns and you will see widgets dragged and dropped inside the column.
Add a Widget
Now try adding a new widget into a page. By clicking on the widget and X icon, delete one of the widgets in the template that you have inserted. The search for the button widget in the left panel, pull it into the blank area from where you have just deleted the widget.
Change the Background Image
By clicking on one of the sections, you will see section settings on the left panel. On that go to the middle ‘Style’ tab and click on the background image. After that select another image and press ‘Insert Media’. This will change the background image.
Change Fonts
On the page go to a heading widget and click on it. Heading settings will be opened on the left panel. From there go to the middle ‘Style’ tab and click on ‘Typography’. After that, you can browse through the variety of fonts under ‘Family’ and select a different font family.
Inside Hello Theme
Other than the speed and no fluff, of course, six useful built-in templates make Hello Theme just great for page builders.
The six built-in templates are –
- Default Template – This basic template that is designed with the sidebar on the right
- Full-Width Page – If you don’t want the sidebar to appear, use this template and choose the content to span to 100% of the width.

- Page Builder Blank – This template is appropriate for landing pages. It displays a blank canvas, no header, and no footer. With the page builder, design the entire page.
- Page Builder Boxed – A very handy template, removes the title of the page including the related unneeded spaces.
- Page Builder Full Width – This template is alike to the Page Builder Boxed theme. The only difference is that the content spans to the full width of the screen.
